This notice explains what personal data Get Me Vito! collects, why we collect it and what rights you have. We act as the data controller for the information described below.
What we collect
- Booking details: name, email address, phone number, pickup and drop-off addresses, flight number, travel date and passenger count.
- Payment information: processed by our payment provider. We never store full card numbers on our own systems.
- Account information: if you create an account, your login credentials and saved bookings.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type and pages visited, collected through cookies where you have consented.
Why we use it
- To arrange and deliver the transfer you booked, which requires sharing your name, phone number and addresses with the assigned driver.
- To send booking confirmations, driver details and service messages.
- To take payment and to meet our accounting and tax obligations.
- To improve the website and, where you have consented, to show relevant offers.
Legal basis
We process booking and payment data because it is necessary to perform our contract with you. We process analytics and marketing data on the basis of your consent, which you may withdraw at any time. Some records are kept because the law requires it.
Who we share it with
We share the minimum necessary data with the transfer operator and driver carrying out your journey, with our payment provider, and with service providers who host our systems and send our email. We do not sell personal data.
How long we keep it
Booking records are kept for as long as required by tax and accounting law. Account data is kept until you close your account. Analytics data is kept for a maximum of 26 months.
Your rights
You may ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or object to a particular use. To exercise any of these rights, email hi@getmevito.com. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
